Thanks for stopping by my blog! I’m going to be making a big effort to update it every month from now on… hopefully you’ll enjoy a little peak into my day-to-day life, training and maybe even a few of my favourite recipes?!
First let’s catch up on September as I returned home from the World Championships in Shanghai to start the new swimming season!
It started with an amazing holiday in Greece with my boyfriend, it was sooooo nice to chill out for a little while and enjoy my one break of the year…
It already seems like ages ago but really was amazing!
When we got back it was straight back into hard training. All of our targets are now focused on the British Gas Swimming Championships in March next year which are also the selection trials for the Olympics!
I’m currently doing 10 swimming sessions, 2 gym sessions and 2 runs every week… I can’t quite believe it’s less than 1 year to go until London so it’s all head down to work hard from now on :-)
Finally September ended on a very inspiring note as i was honoured to judge The Pride of Britain Awards which were on ITV last weekend. Unfortunately I couldn’t attend the evening as I’m training but I loved being involved and learning more about the hero’s, it was a fantastic experience! It’s so cool that these guys get some recognition in this way so well done to everyone!
So that was September… I’ll be posting my favourite favourite recipe soon so keep checking to find out what it is!
See you soon for my October diary too,
