Training in Mallorca
8 June, 2010
The recent training camp in Mallorca was
one of the best I've ever been on. There were about 35 swimmers
plus staff and the atmosphere was so relaxed. Normally when I'm at
a camp there's a big competition around the corner, but not this
time and you could tell. We trained as hard as we always do but
there was a bit of time set aside for us to have some fun. The
team's main sponsor, British Gas, were out there with us and
organised some games for us to play that were so funny! We even
managed to play a round of crazy golf!
The other part of the camp I really
enjoyed was that I got the chance to train with some different
faces. Jo Jackson and Kerri-anne Payne are great swimmers and good
mates too, so it was nice to be in the pool with them. I also loved
doing long course training - it's not something I get to do all
that often in England. All in all a brilliant couple of
weeks!
